Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (Zoomlion) has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing stronger board-led oversight, deeper decarbonisation progress and accelerated innovation investment across global operations.
Governance and Shareholder Returns • The board and its ESG Committee assumed full responsibility for identifying and managing ESG risks. • Two shareholder meetings approved RMB4.30 billion in cash dividends; cumulative dividends since listing exceed RMB30.60 billion. • All 122 regulatory filings in 2025 were made on time with zero disclosure violations. • Retail-holder voting coverage at general meetings reached 100%, and separate vote counting for small and medium investors also stood at 100%. • Sixteen integrity-training sessions underpinned the company’s “zero-tolerance” anti-corruption stance.
Climate and Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions were 227,346 tonnes, up 0.76% year-on-year, while emissions intensity rose 5.33% to 4.35 tonnes per million revenue, mainly due to higher electricity demand from smart-factory upgrades. • Roof-top photovoltaic installations across the Smart Industry City generated 82 million kWh, cutting annual carbon emissions by an estimated 47,000 tonnes. • NOx emissions per million revenue fell 43.85% to 0.052 kg; COD emissions per million revenue dropped 24.73% to 0.279 kg. • Hazardous-waste generation was 3,893 tonnes, flat year-on-year; a 10% cut is targeted by 2028.
Innovation and Product Pipeline • R&D spend reached RMB2.89 billion, 5.55% of main-business revenue. • Patent applications totalled 1,772, including 960 inventions; PCT filings covered 34 countries and regions. • Fifty-eight new-energy products were launched, taking the on-sale portfolio to 240 models. Flagship releases included the world’s largest 700-horsepower hybrid tractor and a 3,600-tonne-metre wind-electric boom tower crane.
Supply Chain and Quality Management • Qualified suppliers numbered 2,275, with 682 based in Hunan province and 1,593 elsewhere. • A unified digital platform strengthened end-to-end supplier oversight; all suppliers signed clean-trade agreements. • No product recalls were reported; customer issues are channelled for resolution within 48 hours via a global 24-hour service network spanning 200-plus countries.
Human Capital and Workplace Safety • Total headcount rose to 35,344, of which 51.36% are aged 35 or below; R&D personnel represent 30.49% of staff. • Nearly 12,000 employees were hired during the year, including 1,100 graduates. • 347 staff obtained Red-Cross first-aid certification as the company rolled out a “four-minute” AED emergency system. • All business units maintain ISO 45001 certification; no work-related fatalities were recorded.
Community Contribution • RMB2.00 million was donated to “Love Changes Destiny” education programmes, bringing Zoomlion’s cumulative contribution to almost RMB40 million. • Equipment and personnel supported more than 60 emergency-rescue deployments during the year.
Zoomlion states that ESG metrics are now embedded in corporate strategy, with digitisation, intelligence and green transformation positioned as the next phase of its global expansion.
