The Jiangsu Lianyungang branch of China Mobile (hereinafter referred to as Lianyungang Mobile) recently conducted a specialized training session on the "AI+ Work Platform" for all grassroots officials from various departments and communities in the Xugou Subdistrict of Lianyun District. This initiative aims to leverage digital technology to empower the digital transformation of grassroots governance.
A staff member from the Xugou Subdistrict Party and Government Office shared their experience: "Previously, drafting a subdistrict work notice would take up most of the day due to reviewing policy documents, checking document formats, and repeatedly polishing the content. Now, by opening the 'AI+ Work Platform' and simply entering the reason for the notice, the target audience, and the formatting requirements, I can get a standard, complete draft notice in just a few minutes. This has significantly improved efficiency. The time saved allows me to visit communities, engage with residents, and focus on solving practical issues in grassroots governance."
The "AI+ Work Platform" is an AI productivity tool that integrates intelligent prompt generation, document creation, PPT production, ledger data processing, and government knowledge management. Its "out-of-the-box" convenience and comprehensive range of skills covering the entire workflow of grassroots government affairs make it an indispensable "intelligent assistant" for daily operations. During the training, another official noted, "Previously, compiling resident complaint ledgers and organizing monthly data reports required manual entry, classification, and statistics, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now, by simply typing a request like 'Categorize resident complaints by elderly care, property management, and environment, and generate a monthly summary Excel table,' the AI automatically completes data filtering, comparison, and aggregation. This makes it much easier to analyze public needs and promote community services in a targeted manner."
Many officials reported that after the training, they found the AI-generated work reports, meeting minutes, and activity planning frameworks to be logically clear and complete. PPTs, policy extracts, and speech materials were also readily available. With slight customization to fit local conditions, these materials could be used directly. "It's like having a smart, text-based secretary who understands government affairs and grassroots work, always on standby."
Currently, the application scenarios of the "AI+ Work Platform" have expanded to government, judicial, and corporate sectors, serving numerous government agencies, subdistrict communities, enterprises, and schools across the city. Going forward, Lianyungang Mobile will continue to deepen the integrated support system of "AI Work Platform + FDE + Intelligent Agents + Data Governance," promoting the deep integration of AI capabilities with grassroots government affairs and various industry scenarios. This will provide more users with efficient, secure, and intelligent office experiences, helping various sectors accelerate their digital transformation.
