DATANG POWER (00991) has seen simultaneous gains in its A and H shares recently. At the time of writing, DATANG POWER's A-shares closed limit-up, while H-shares rose 10.96% to HK$3.34, with a turnover of HK$716 million. The company recently announced an agreement with Jiangsu Guoxin Group and Ordos New Energy to establish a joint venture for the development of the "Inner Mongolia Power to Jiangsu" ±800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current project. The project involves a static investment of approximately RMB 58.1 billion and includes 4,000 MW of wind power, 8,000 MW of photovoltaic power, 2,640 MW of coal-fired power, and a supporting 2,040 MW / 8,160 MWh energy storage system. Analysis indicates that this project extends the company's power generation footprint to cross-provincial transmission channels, opening new avenues for future electricity sales and profit growth. In recent years, the company's dividend payout ratio has steadily increased. With ongoing improvements in efficiency and the steady advancement of major projects, long-term value is expected to be further realized.
