Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (002487.SZ) announced that its subsidiary, Tangshan Dajin Hai Gong Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., has signed a shipbuilding contract for two bulk carriers with a Norwegian shipowner. The contract involves the design, construction, and delivery of 211,000 DWT (deadweight tonnage) bulk carriers, each measuring approximately 299.95 meters in length, 50 meters in width, and 25 meters in depth.

The total contract value is approximately RMB 1 billion, with deliveries scheduled to occur in batches by 2029. This agreement highlights the company's shipbuilding capabilities, which have gained widespread recognition from leading international shipowners. The fulfillment of this contract is expected to positively impact the company's future operating performance.
