Stock Track | LENS Plummets 5.04% Intraday as Intel Cooperation Catalyst Fades Amid Broad Sector Sell-off

Stock Track13:57

LENS shares tumbled 5.04% during intraday trading on Tuesday, as the initial enthusiasm over the company's memorandum of understanding with Intel for TGV advanced packaging collaboration dissipated and widespread selling swept through the electronic components sector.

The stock had rallied over 5% in the previous session following news of the Intel partnership, which covers glass substrate through-hole forming, high-precision laser processing, and metallized via deposition. However, the company had explicitly cautioned that the MOU may not result in a formal agreement and that the TGV business has yet to make a material contribution to operating results. As the near-term catalyst was priced in, investors moved to lock in gains.

Compounding the decline, the broader sector faced heavy selling pressure, with KB LAMINATES plunging 16.33%, KINGBOARD HLDG falling 12.58%, and other names such as VGT, LUXSHARE ICT, and SUNNY OPTICAL also recording significant losses, indicating systematic de-risking across the industry.
