The American healthy salad chain Sweetgreen, Inc. announced the launch of a new limited-time summer menu on Tuesday. Inspired by the year-round anticipation of summer—longer days, golden sunshine, and peak-season tomatoes—the menu aims to capture the fleeting joys of the season by transforming seasonal ingredients into vibrant, flavorful dishes, inviting guests to indulge while they can.

The summer menu features three new items, available nationwide starting June 9. The Tomato Panzanella Salad will be offered until July 6, while the Picnic Bowl and Summer Market Bowl will be available until August 10. This marks the first time Sweetgreen, Inc. has introduced a panzanella-style salad, combining romaine lettuce, arugula, avocado, basil, cucumber, pickled onions, garlic breadcrumbs, feta, and a fresh tomato vinaigrette, with tomato taking center stage in an Italian-inspired creation.

The Picnic Bowl pairs romaine lettuce, golden quinoa, smoked blackened chicken, summer vegetable medley, crispy onions, corn salsa, and a roasted jalapeño ranch dressing to deliver the robust flavors of a backyard barbecue. The Summer Market Bowl features baby spinach, warm wild rice, roasted chicken, pickled onions, summer vegetable medley, maple-roasted sunflower seeds, feta, and a pesto vinaigrette, evoking the atmosphere of a farmers' market.

Sweetgreen, Inc. Chief Brand Officer Zipporah Allen stated, "Seasonality has always been at the heart of Sweetgreen, but summer gives us a chance to make that even more vibrant. This menu showcases what we do best: combining carefully sourced, peak-season ingredients with bold, bright flavors to celebrate produce at its finest."

Founded in 2007 with a mission to redefine fast food, Sweetgreen, Inc. now operates over 280 locations across the United States, known for its seasonal, chef-crafted menus.
