King’s Flair International (Holdings) Limited reported improved profitability for the six months ended 30 June 2026 despite softer sales.
Revenue and Margin • Revenue declined 8.40 % year on year to HK$228.88 million, reflecting continued trade tension and tariff uncertainty in the United States. • Gross profit climbed 16.10 % to HK$59.34 million; gross margin widened 5.40 percentage points to 25.9 % on lower raw-material costs and streamlined production.
Earnings • Loss attributable to shareholders contracted 69.80 % to HK$12.38 million (basic loss per share: 1.8 HK cents), compared with a HK$40.98 million loss a year earlier. • Net loss improvement stemmed from the stronger margin, a HK$8.53 million swing to net other gains (vs. a HK$6.83 million loss previously) driven by a HK$6.10 million fair-value gain on investment properties, and a 12.30 % reduction in administrative expenses.
Cash Flow and Balance Sheet • Operating cash inflow fell to HK$4.20 million from HK$51.19 million, mainly due to lower customer receipts. • Net cash outflow reached HK$6.12 million after HK$1.35 million investing outflow (office renovation) and HK$8.97 million financing outflow (bank-debt repayments). • Cash and bank balances rose to HK$143.60 million (31 Dec 2025: HK$122.12 million). • Total borrowings (bank loans, overdrafts, leases and minority loans) increased marginally to HK$123.68 million, lifting the gearing ratio to 27.9 % (31 Dec 2025: 23.0 %). Unused banking facilities stood at HK$288.50 million, implying a 25.5 % utilisation rate.
Operations and Strategy • A new nano production line at Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate commenced operation, enhancing automation and supporting higher-margin proprietary products. • Headcount dropped to 144 from 151, helping trim staff costs by 6.10 % to HK$29.12 million. • Management will continue prioritising high-margin offerings, supply-chain resilience and cost efficiency while expanding eco-friendly and nanomaterial-based product lines.
Corporate Actions and Events • On 5 June 2026 the Group agreed to sell its entire stake in Golden Well Ventures Limited to Eagle Action Limited; independent shareholders approved the disposal on 25 August 2026, with completion on 28 August 2026. • No interim dividend was declared; no share repurchases occurred during the period.
Outlook King’s Flair aims to leverage its upgraded manufacturing capabilities and proprietary designs to drive sustainable growth amid a challenging global trade environment.
