During the first half of 2026, building on its leading position in the white goods industry, Midea's commercial and industrial solutions across robotics, new energy, building technology, industrial components, healthcare, and logistics have become one of the primary engines driving sustained business growth. Notably, revenue from building technology and robotics & automation segments grew by more than 10% year-on-year.
In terms of market leadership, Midea maintained the world's number one position in global market share for household air conditioner compressors, household air conditioner motors, and washing machine motors during the first half of 2026. Domestically, Midea's central air conditioning sales accounted for over 22% of the market, commercial multi-split systems captured more than 29% of domestic sales, and centrifugal chiller units held over 16% of the domestic market share, all ranking first in the industry. KUKA China's domestic market share reached 9.7%, climbing to the top two in the industry, while further strengthening its advantage in heavy-load robots, with domestic sales share for robots with loads above 300kg exceeding 50%.
Beyond record-breaking financial performance, Midea Group is comprehensively advancing the application of AI across its entire business value chain, steadily transitioning toward becoming an "AI + industrial technology group." During the first half of the year, the company incubated over 20,000 AI agents, generating cumulative efficiency gains exceeding 9 million hours and cost savings surpassing RMB 450 million. At the front-end R&D stage, Midea has built an AI-based planning platform covering everything from user demand insights to product definition, achieving AI human-machine collaboration in key scenarios and AI substitution in repetitive tasks, with single-scenario process efficiency improving by 30%-60%.
In the production and manufacturing segment, 14 core AI agents have replaced traditional manual tasks that previously took hours with second-level response times, delivering average efficiency improvements of over 30% in core scenarios and a 50% increase in production scheduling response speed. In product sales, AI-powered production and sales agents drove a 4.4% improvement in domestic inventory turnover efficiency, while the scale of transactions closed through AI-generated business opportunities continues to expand. Self-developed AI supports the full-chain planning and execution of overseas business from quoting to shipping, achieving comprehensive efficiency improvements exceeding 60%.
Midea Group has now established four global data centers, forming a unified global data asset system. Total data volume has surpassed 54PB, with data assets exceeding 17PB. Data services recorded over 6 billion calls in cumulative usage during the first half of the year, covering more than 50 application scenarios across 8 business domains including domestic sales, international sales, and supply chain operations. As computing power scales exponentially, Midea Building Technology, Midea Energy, and Midea Industrial Technology have fully deployed AI data center (AIDC) supporting businesses including temperature control and energy supply solutions.
Currently, Midea Group has participated in data center projects for several leading internet companies and government agencies, established deep cooperation with global top-tier telecommunications enterprises to provide data center temperature control solutions, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba to jointly focus on AIDC liquid cooling temperature control technology, building a green computing infrastructure foundation for the AI era. Additionally, Midea's self-developed humanoid robots are being advanced for application across multiple scenarios. The humanoid robot "Meiluo U" has been on duty at the high-end washing machine park for over two months, completing more than 100,000 screw fastening operations. For household and commercial scenarios, Midea has developed the second-generation high-performance bipedal full humanoid robot "Meila X2," which currently possesses human-like walking, stair climbing, running, dancing, and other all-terrain, diversified movement capabilities, achieving a success rate of over 95% in open-ended household task scenarios such as folding towels, organizing dining tables, and tidying sofas.
