67 Agricultural Products from Liaoning Receive National Certification

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs' Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Center recently released the third batch of 2025's "Distinctive Agricultural Products" catalog, with six products from Liaoning Province included. Additionally, 61 products from Liaoning were listed in the third batch of 2025's "National Famous, Special, and New Agricultural Products" catalog.

1. **2025 Third Batch of Distinctive Agricultural Products Catalog** Following the procedures outlined in the "Technical Specifications for Distinctive Agricultural Product Registration (Trial)," 152 products, including "Thumbelina Soft Kiwi," were recommended by county-level agricultural product quality and safety institutions, reviewed by municipal and provincial authorities, and confirmed through expert technical evaluations by the Ministry's Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Center (referred to as the "Center"). After public notice on the Center's official website, these products met the technical requirements and were added to the Distinctive Agricultural Products catalog.

**Distinctive Agricultural Products** refer to those produced under specific environmental conditions, exhibiting stable, perceptible, identifiable, and quantifiable unique quality characteristics. They must have a certain production scale, stable supply, consumer recognition, and be officially registered by the Center.

2. **2025 Third Batch of National Famous, Special, and New Agricultural Products Catalog** In accordance with the "National Famous, Special, and New Agricultural Products Management Measures," 790 products, including "Wenchang Date," were reviewed by municipal and provincial technical agencies and confirmed by the Center's expert panel. After public notice, they met the certification criteria and were included in the catalog (see attached list). Certificates were issued accordingly.

**National Famous, Special, and New Agricultural Products** are defined as those produced in specific regions (typically at the county level), showcasing notable regional characteristics, unique nutritional qualities, stable production and supply, and high market recognition. They must be certified and issued certificates by the Center.
