China East Air Buys Back 3.07 Million A Shares on 22 June; June Total Hits 12.44 Million

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (“China East Air”) disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return that it repurchased 3.07 million A shares on 22 June 2026 via the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The shares were acquired at prices ranging from RMB 3.89 to RMB 3.91, for a total consideration of RMB 12.00 million. All repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation.

Including earlier buybacks conducted on 5, 8, 9 and 10 June, the carrier has repurchased 12.44 million A shares during the month to date. The aggregate volume represents approximately 0.056% of the company’s 22.09 billion outstanding ordinary shares (17.02 billion A shares and 5.06 billion H shares).

Despite these repurchases, the issued share capital reported for 22 June 2026 remains unchanged at 17.02 billion A shares, as the newly repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled.
