Where things stand now - On the asset-liability restoration front, the overseas debt restructuring plan covering roughly USD 17.7 billion took effect on December 30, 2025, officially marking a new phase of credit repair and performance execution. Meanwhile, restructuring plans for nine onshore corporate bonds totaling approximately RMB 13.77 billion in principal were fully approved during 2025. In line with the plan's terms, the group exercised a cash buyback option capped at RMB 450 million in February 2026 and completed the repurchase work by April.
Looking ahead, the company will continue implementing other restructuring options, including stock options and general claim alternatives. Through a series of debt restructuring moves in recent years, the group has sharply reduced its interest-bearing liabilities, further lowered existing financing costs, and significantly optimized its debt maturity structure. This has secured a key window for lighter operations, enabling the group to sharpen its focus on home delivery and business operations. By 'trading time for space,' the group is steadily advancing improvements to its balance sheet.
