The following companies saw new developments that may affect the trading of their securities on Thursday (Apr 20):

Keppel Reit: The real estate investment trust on Wednesday posted a distributable income from operations of S$50.2 million for its first quarter ended Mar 31, 2023, down 6.7 percent from S$53.8 million for the same period a year earlier. It will, however, distribute an anniversary distribution of S$5 million for the quarter. Units of Keppel Reit closed 0.6 percent lower at S$0.895, before the news.

Keppel Corporation: The global asset manager and operator’s infrastructure arm has partnered ExxonMobil Asia Pacific to explore low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia solutions. On Thursday, Keppel said it is also looking to use low-carbon hydrogen for Singapore’s first hydrogen-ready, 600 megawatt advanced combined cycle power plant. Its shares closed on Wednesday 2 percent or S$0.12 higher at S$6.19.

Nanofilm Technologies: The mainboard-listed group on Wednesday posted a 40 percent fall in revenue to S$33 million for its first quarter ended Mar 31, 2023. The decline was attributed to Q1 being typically cyclical in line with production cycles, while revenue was hit by China’s slow and soft recovery since its reopening. Shares of Nanofilm closed 2.4 percent lower at S$1.65, before the results release.

Oiltek International: Its wholly-owned subsidiary has been awarded new contracts worth RM56.8 million (S$17.1 million) in Indonesia and Malaysia. This brings its order book to a new high of RM339.5 million, said the group on Thursday. Its shares closed flat at S$0.235 on Wednesday.

USP Group: A court has ruled that the group’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM), which was due to be held on Apr 21, need not proceed. The requisition notice for the EGM was on Wednesday declared invalid, as the requisitioning shareholders were not deemed “members” of USP under the Companies Act. Shares of USP Group closed unchanged on Wednesday at S$0.103 with no trades.
