SAIC Motor Reports 327,000 Vehicle Sales in January, Up 23.9% Year-on-Year

SAIC Motor Corporation Limited announced its production and sales figures for January 2026 on February 2. In January, the company's wholesale vehicle sales reached 327,000 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 23.9%. Retail sales to end customers totaled 363,000 units, positioning the company's wholesale and retail volumes among the industry leaders.

Production of new energy vehicles stood at 104,700 units, a 20.21% increase compared to the same period last year, while sales reached 85,374 units, surging 39.73% year-on-year. Production for export and from overseas bases amounted to 104,600 vehicles, up 50.56%, with sales from these segments hitting 104,500 units, a robust 51.68% year-on-year growth.
