Ferrari Exceeds Q1 Profit Expectations, First All-Electric Model Nears Debut

Deep News05-05

Ferrari NV reported first-quarter earnings on Tuesday that surpassed Wall Street forecasts and reaffirmed its full-year financial guidance.

The luxury sports car manufacturer posted adjusted earnings per share of 2.33 euros on revenue of 1.85 billion euros (equivalent to 2.16 billion U.S. dollars).

Ferrari is set to unveil its first fully electric model, the Luce, on May 25, with the strong quarterly results coming just weeks ahead of the new vehicle's debut.

Ferrari's Q1 performance exceeded average market expectations compiled by the London Stock Exchange Group, with the following key figures:

Adjusted EPS: 2.33 euros (equivalent to 2.72 U.S. dollars), compared to an expected 2.27 euros. Revenue: 1.85 billion euros, compared to an expected 1.81 billion euros.

Revenue increased by over 3% compared to the 1.79 billion euros reported in the first quarter of 2025. Operating profit rose by 1.1% year-over-year, while adjusted earnings grew by 4.2%.

The company's full-year 2026 guidance includes a net revenue target of 7.5 billion euros, adjusted operating profit of at least 2.22 billion euros, adjusted EPS of 9.45 euros, and industrial free cash flow of no less than 1.5 billion euros.

Despite a 4.4% year-over-year decline in vehicle shipments to 3,436 units, the company delivered robust results. Ferrari stated that the deliberate reduction in production was part of a planned and smooth model transition strategy.

The company confirmed that escalated conflicts in the Middle East did not impact deliveries, citing flexibility in managing regional allocation quotas, which allowed for the advance shipment of vehicles to other markets.

The earnings report was released just ahead of the global premiere of Ferrari's first all-electric model, the Luce, scheduled for May 25.

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna stated on Tuesday, "With just 20 days until the global debut of the Ferrari Luce, market anticipation has never been higher. The Luce embodies leading-edge technology and the passion of countless teams, perfectly illustrating how the brand blends heritage with innovation to create a truly unique product."
