Moutai to Launch Lower-Alcohol Variant in Travel Retail Channels

On May 13, according to the official Moutai International WeChat account, the TFWA Asia Pacific Duty Free & Travel Retail Exhibition 2026 recently opened at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

During the opening ceremony, Fei Lin, Deputy General Manager of Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd. Import & Export Co., emphasized that the travel retail channel has been upgraded to become the "international strategic hub" for Moutai.

He revealed that Moutai is planning exclusive products for the travel retail channel, including the imminent launch of a lower-alcohol Moutai baijiu. This product is designed to better align with the international spirits consumption context, aiming to serve as a bridge for global consumers with its elegant and approachable taste profile.
