Tech Giants' Pre-Market Performance Diverges, with Tesla and Nvidia Lagging as Broadcom's Outlook Weighs on Sector

Deep News18:52

In pre-market trading, Tesla Motors and Nvidia are underperforming relative to the other members of the "Magnificent Seven" group of major technology stocks. U.S. stock index futures are trending lower, influenced by chipmaker Broadcom's artificial intelligence chip revenue forecast failing to impress investors.

The chipmaker's weak performance is also putting pressure on the share prices of companies associated with the AI ecosystem.

Performance among the Magnificent Seven stocks: Tesla Motors is down 0.96%, Nvidia is down 0.9%, and Meta is down 0.8%. In contrast, Apple is up 0.97%, Amazon has gained 0.4%, Alphabet is up 0.5%, and Microsoft has risen 0.6%.
