On June 29, Watsons, the world's largest international health and beauty retailer, announced the appointment of 31 global technology strategy partners to further accelerate its AI-driven O+O (Offline and Online) transformation.

The strategic partners include Oracle, Microsoft, and NCR Voyix, among others.

This appointment was announced at the Watsons Group 2026 Technology Partner Day, demonstrating the group's commitment to building a robust global technology ecosystem to comprehensively accelerate the pace of retail innovation, enhance cybersecurity resilience, and achieve sustainable and scalable growth across all its operational markets.

As part of the technology partner program, Watsons Group is continuously increasing its investment in technology, data, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on boosting enterprise productivity, creating personalized experiences, and strengthening cybersecurity and e-commerce.

Group Chief Executive Officer, Malina Ngai, stated that artificial intelligence is not an isolated technology but a core strategy that permeates the entire enterprise. The primary task is to leverage AI to reduce friction, enhance execution efficiency, and allow teams to focus more on creating value for customers.
