Several key initiatives from the industry have been included in the recently released "Silver City National Economic and Social Development 15th Five-Year Plan Outline."

The plan outlines specific measures to accelerate the construction of postal facilities, enhance industry governance efficiency, and improve service standards.

It calls for the improvement of the agricultural product distribution network, including the establishment of cold chain logistics bases, collection and distribution centers at production sites, and comprehensive service platforms.

The plan also aims to strengthen the commercial network and logistics delivery system across counties, towns, and villages, fostering a rural e-commerce industrial model that integrates e-commerce, origin warehouses, and delivery logistics.

Further reforms in the supply and marketing sector will be deepened, expanding the functions of "supply-post cooperation" to establish integrated service cooperatives and promote the convergence of grassroots supply and marketing cooperatives with rural collective economic organizations.

The plan emphasizes building a modern, efficient, safe, smart, and green urban-rural logistics system that is well-matched to supply and demand, internally and externally connected.

This involves optimizing the layout of logistics and warehousing facilities and advancing the construction and upgrading of digital logistics infrastructure.

Key projects include the Yindong E-commerce Express Logistics Park, the Pingchuan Modern Comprehensive Logistics Park, and the Silver Hub Logistics Big Data and Smart Supply Chain Platform.

The initiative also focuses on creating a one-hour urban delivery circle, improving last-mile delivery networks and stations within cities.

Additionally, it seeks to enhance county-level logistics distribution hubs, accelerate the development of smart and green express processing centers, and strengthen the layout of three-tier logistics service stations at the county, township, and village levels.
