Brent crude prices fell sharply below $100 per barrel after the United States and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire. The U.S. and Israel are expected to halt military operations in exchange for Tehran reopening the Strait of Hormuz. At one point, Brent crude futures dropped by 16%, reaching $91.70 per barrel.
