Stock News05-18

JINXUN RESOURCE (03636) announced that, in line with business development needs, its subsidiary Jinxun DRC Mining Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the construction of a sulfuric acid plant to support its copper-cobalt smelting operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The project aims to enhance the local smelting industry chain, reduce production costs, and improve operational performance. The plant will be located in Kolwezi, DRC.

The total investment for the project is approximately RMB 90 million, with a construction period of about 12 months. Funding will be arranged independently by the subsidiary, Jinxun DRC Mining Co., Ltd. Specific planning, implementation, and potential adjustments to the investment and construction will be steadily advanced by the subsidiary's management based on actual conditions.

Should adjustments to the project's investment and construction scope be necessary due to macroeconomic policies, market conditions, or the company's practical needs, the company will follow relevant decision-making procedures and information disclosure obligations in accordance with its Articles of Association, the Governance Rules for Listed Companies on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) System, and the Information Disclosure Rules for Listed Companies on the NEEQ System.

This investment represents a key supporting project for the copper-cobalt smelting operations. Upon completion, it is expected to achieve self-sufficiency in sulfuric acid supply, significantly reduce raw material procurement costs, extend the industry chain, and enhance overall competitiveness. The move aligns with the company's strategy of deepening its overseas resource operations.
