On Monday, the three major U.S. stock indices all closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also rose, with a proportional calculation showing a close at 25,948.45 points, an increase of 114.43 points or 0.44% compared to the Hong Kong market close. Most large-cap blue-chip stocks declined. HSBC Holdings closed at HKD 125.772, up 1.18% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holdings ended at HKD 562.772, rising 0.76% compared to its Hong Kong session close.
