On May 6, a shareholder of Central China Management (09982) transferred shares from CCB International Securities to Lippo Securities. The total value of the transferred shares amounted to HK$5,070.85, representing 11.21% of the holdings.
This follows a previous announcement by the company stating that controlling shareholder and Chairman Hu Baosen sold a 15% stake to Huang Yongheng for HK$33.05 million. Upon completion of the transaction, Mr. Hu’s shareholding will decrease to 20.13%, and he will no longer be the controlling shareholder. Huang Yongheng will become the new largest single shareholder with a 25% stake.
Analysts suggest that under the leadership of the new controlling shareholder, the company may undergo strategic adjustments and explore new business directions.
