Wall St Sinks as Middle East Turmoil Clouds Fed Outlook

Wall Street's main indexes dropped on Friday ‌as the Iran war approached its ​fourth week, roiling ​energy markets and prompting ⁠investors to ​aggressively reprice bets ​on the Federal Reserve's interest-rate cuts.

The Dow Jones ​Industrial Average ​fell 0.30%. The S&P 500 fell ​⁠0.68%, while ​the Nasdaq Composite ​dropped 1.08%.

Big tech stocks dropped in morning trading. Oracle, Palantir, and Tesla fell 3%; TSMC, Meta, and Alphabet fell 2%; Microsoft, Nvidia, Broadcom, and Amazon fell 1%.
