Shares of LUK FOOK HOLD (00590) opened sharply higher, gaining more than 6%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.56% to HK$21.78, with a turnover of HK$479,200.
The company announced its annual results for the period ended March 31, 2026. The group reported revenue of HK$17.205 billion, a 29% year-on-year increase. Profit attributable to equity holders surged 86% to HK$2.046 billion. A final dividend of HK$1.02 per share was proposed, representing an 85.5% increase compared to the previous year.
The announcement stated that the revenue growth was primarily driven by robust demand for gold products, coupled with a significant rise in sales of priced jewelry due to effective product differentiation and sales and promotion strategies.
Furthermore, benefiting from the rising gold price and an increased sales contribution from priced jewelry, the overall gross profit margin improved by 3.6 percentage points to 36.7%. Gross profit climbed 42.9% to HK$6.31 billion, also reaching a new record high.
