SMOORE INTL Executes HK$14.11 Million Share Buy-Back, Citing Valuation Gap

Bulletin Express11-02

Smoore International Holdings Limited (SMOORE INTL) repurchased 1.66 million shares on 2 November 2026 under its existing shareholder mandate, according to a voluntary filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The on-market purchases were made at prices ranging from HK$8.36 to HK$8.50 per share, resulting in an average acquisition cost of HK$8.48 and a total consideration of HK$14.11 million before expenses. The transaction represents approximately 0.0269% of the company’s issued share capital as of the 22 May 2026 annual general meeting.

The buy-back falls within the Repurchase Mandate approved at that AGM, which authorises SMOORE INTL to reacquire up to 619.56 million shares, equivalent to 10% of its then-outstanding shares. Funding was drawn from existing cash reserves and free cash flow.

The board stated that the current market price does not reflect the group’s “intrinsic value and business prospects,” adding that repurchases are expected to enhance earnings per share and shareholder returns. Management signalled potential for additional buy-backs and pledged to disclose any further transactions through statutory next-day and monthly returns.

As of the announcement date, Smoore’s board comprises four executive directors, one non-executive director and three independent non-executive directors.
