According to corporate information, Shanghai Best Electronic Co., Ltd. has recently been fined 200,000 yuan by the Shanghai Jing'an District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau. The penalty was imposed for publishing an advertisement for a computer mouse on the Logitech International SA (LOGI) online store it operated on behalf of the brand. The ad, which was active from March 25 to 26, 2026, contained offensive text.
As previously reported by media, on March 26 of this year, the "Logitech G Official Flagship Store" released a promotional video for the Logitech GPW3 mouse. The accompanying text was accused of insulting consumers, sparking widespread online criticism. That same evening, Logitech China issued an apology statement, clarifying that the store was operated by its authorized partner, Shanghai Best Electronic Co., Ltd. The statement attributed the违规 content to an individual employee at that company who bypassed the review process and published it without authorization. Logitech stated it had dealt severely with the relevant team and removed the video. Shanghai Best Electronic also issued a simultaneous apology, pledging to take management responsibility and not shift blame onto individuals.
Corporate records show that Shanghai Best Electronic Co., Ltd. was established in March 2001 with a registered capital of 5 million yuan. Its business scope includes electronic products, communication equipment, computers, software, and auxiliary equipment. The company is jointly owned by individuals Huang and Dai.
This third-party operator has a history of regulatory issues. As early as 2016, it received an administrative penalty from the Shanghai Jiading District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau for false advertising. In 2018, it was ordered to correct "unfair terms" it had set on its online store sales pages.
