Leveraged Nikkei ETF Surges Over 4% as Japan's Benchmark Index Hits Record High

The leveraged ETF tracking the Nikkei 225, CSOP Nikkei 225 Daily (2x) Leveraged Product (07262.HK), rose more than 4%. At the time of writing, it was up 4.59% to HK$201.5, with a turnover of HK$6.9022 million.

Market sentiment was boosted by the AI-driven rally across Asia-Pacific equities. On June 3rd, Japanese stocks surged significantly. The Nikkei 225 index gained over 3%, breaking through the 68,000-point level for the first time in history.

Among individual stocks, Tokyo Electron Ltd soared more than 13%, while Nikon Corp and Panasonic Holdings Corp both advanced over 9%.

In related news, the Japanese government has finalized an additional budget of 3.1 trillion yen (approximately $19.4 billion) to provide subsidies aimed at mitigating soaring fuel and utility costs.

Market participants are also closely watching for an upcoming key speech by Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda.
