China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (02601) Announces Election of New Employee Director

China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the Company) has confirmed that, following its recent Employees’ Representatives Conference, Ms. Zhou Liyun has been elected as an employee director for the Company’s tenth session of the board. Her term of office will begin once the revised Articles of Association and her director qualification receive approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration, and it will end at the conclusion of the tenth board session.

According to the announcement, Ms. Zhou is currently deputy secretary of the Party Committee, vice chairman of the board of supervisors, employee representative supervisor, chairman of the Labor Union, principal of the Party School, and secretary of the Party Committee directly under the Company. Her prior roles include senior positions within Shanghai Talent Service Center, Shanghai Urban Construction Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Chengtou Water (Group) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Chengtou (Group) Co., Ltd. She holds a master’s degree.

The Company states that there is no service contract with Ms. Zhou and that her compensation will be determined according to relevant remuneration policies. The announcement also notes that Ms. Zhou holds no directorships in other listed companies, has no relationships with the Company’s directors, supervisors, or major shareholders, and does not own any shares in the Company within the meaning of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
