Agricultural Bank of China Chairman Gu Shu Holds Working Meeting with CCPIT President Ren Hongbin

On April 2, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) Chairman Gu Shu held a working meeting in Beijing with Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Gu Shu stated that ABC and CCPIT have long maintained a close cooperative relationship across multiple areas. In the next phase, ABC will continue to leverage its advantages and deepen multi-faceted and in-depth cooperation with CCPIT, contributing financial strength to promoting high-level opening-up and strengthening foreign trade and investment cooperation.

Ren Hongbin expressed that CCPIT will continue to fulfill its role as a bridge and link, playing a greater part in connecting government and enterprises, integrating domestic and international resources, and facilitating supply and demand. He hopes to engage in broader and more practical cooperation with ABC in areas such as promoting trade and investment, aligning with multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms, and supporting major economic and diplomatic activities, jointly serving the construction of a new system for a higher-level open economy.

Heads of ABC's Corporate Banking Department, Institutional Business Department, and International Finance Department attended the meeting.
