Shares of LEAPMOTOR (09863) surged more than 7% during the trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 4.24% to HK$38.32, with a turnover of HK$315 million.
The significant move follows the company's announcement that its B10 model has completed local certification in Mexico, officially launching and commencing deliveries in the local market. This marks the beginning of the company's expansion into the North American market.
It is noteworthy that by June 2026, LEAPMOTOR's cumulative global deliveries had surpassed 1.5 million vehicles. The company achieved the milestone from 1 million to 1.5 million units in just eight months. In June alone, monthly deliveries reached a record high of 93,376 units, continuing to set new records and maintaining its leading position in sales among emerging automakers.
Analysts point out that LEAPMOTOR's record June deliveries are supported by the intensive launch of new and refreshed models, which is expected to sustain sales momentum. Overall, with the ramp-up of the refreshed C-series models and the upcoming launches of the D99 and, later this year, the A05, the company's product portfolio is becoming increasingly dense. This is anticipated to support continued high sales growth in the subsequent period.
Furthermore, the company is actively advancing its overseas strategy in terms of products, sales channels, and production capacity. Annual export sales are projected to potentially exceed the upper end of the company's guidance. The overseas expansion is viewed as a promising second growth curve that could drive both volume and profitability for the company.
