In late New York trading on Monday (April 6), spot gold declined by 0.54% to $4,651.24 per ounce. It had fallen to a daily low of $4,600.95 at 08:27 Beijing time before gradually recovering, reaching a daily high of $4,706.65 at 17:43.
COMEX gold futures edged up 0.01% to $4,680.30 per ounce.
Spot silver decreased by 0.23% to $72.8569 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose 0.16% to $73.040 per ounce.
COMEX copper futures advanced 0.44% to $5.6080 per pound.
Spot platinum fell 0.35%, and spot palladium dropped 1.29%.
