LOPAL TECH Plans to Build 240,000-Ton LFP Production Base with Total Investment Up to 2 Billion Yuan

LOPAL TECH (02465) announced that, in response to market demand and the company's operational situation, and to further expand its production capacity for high-performance lithium iron phosphate (LFP), its controlling subsidiary, Changzhou Liyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("Changzhou Liyuan"), intends to sign the "High-Performance Lithium Battery Cathode Material Project Cooperation Agreement" and its supplementary agreement (collectively, the "Agreement") with the Management Committee of Jiangsu Jintan Hua Luogeng High-Tech Industrial Development Zone ("Hua Luogeng High-Tech Zone Management Committee").

The project, to be invested in and constructed by Liyuan (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Changzhou Liyuan, within the Jiangsu Jintan Hua Luogeng High-Tech Industrial Development Zone ("Hua Luogeng High-Tech Zone"), involves the establishment of an R&D center and a production base with an annual capacity of 240,000 tons of high-density lithium iron phosphate ("Production Base"). The total planned investment for the project does not exceed 2 billion yuan, with the final amount subject to actual expenditure, funded by the company's own capital or self-raised funds. The Production Base will be implemented in two phases, with the first phase planned for a capacity of 120,000 tons. Changzhou Liyuan will initiate the second phase construction at an appropriate time based on market conditions.
