US Overnight08:20

Dow Futures rose 0.08%, S&P 500 Futures rose 0.10%, Nasdaq Futures rose 0.11% as sentiment leaned cautiously constructive.

Ross Stores shares jumped about 8% in overnight trading. The value retailer raised its profit forecasts on Thursday after reporting better-than-expected second-quarter results, signaling that demand for discounted apparel and accessories remains resilient in an uncertain ‌economy.

Strategy rose 2%. Crypto-linked equities rallied after President Trump called for Congress to pass favorable cryptocurrency regulations and hosted industry leaders at the White House, a Washington signal that buoyed digital-asset sentiment alongside firmer Bitcoin and ether prices and follow-through from earlier gains in the group, even as broader equity markets contended with elevated Treasury yields and lingering rate volatility.

Moderna fell 2.3%. The move follows Thursday’s 23.5% slide that retraced part of Wednesday’s record 177% surge after positive Phase 3 melanoma vaccine results with Merck’s Keytruda, amid investors reassessing the magnitude and durability of the advance alongside rising long-dated Treasury yields, profit-taking after a historic short squeeze, and a cooling tone across healthcare despite continued attention on the company’s oncology pipeline milestones.
