With just five days remaining until the price adjustment window on August 14 at 24:00, the latest estimates show a significant decline in oil prices. At the start of this cycle, the anticipated reduction was 0.09 yuan per liter, but after three consecutive trading days of expanding losses, the market has now entered a substantial downward adjustment range.
Based on the latest calculations, gasoline is expected to drop by 380 yuan per ton, while diesel is projected to fall by 365 yuan per ton. When converted to retail prices, 92-octane gasoline is forecast to decrease by 0.30 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.32 yuan per liter, and 0 diesel by 0.31 yuan per liter.
However, it is important to note that the pricing cycle still has multiple statistical days remaining, and variables remain. If international crude oil prices rebound quickly, the current predicted decline may narrow. The final outcome and the actual reduction amount will be determined by the official announcement from the National Development and Reform Commission.
