Another A-share stock has breached the 2000 yuan mark.

On June 3, optical communication stocks surged collectively. Hengtong Optic-Electric Co., Ltd. and Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company hit their daily 10% limit-up for two consecutive sessions, reaching new highs. Companies like Source Photonics, Inc., TFC Optical Communication, and Lianxun Instruments also achieved new record prices.

Significantly, the share price of Lianxun Instruments (SHSE: 688808)

surpassed 2000 yuan during the trading session, becoming the second A-share stock in recent years, following Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. (SSE: 600519)

, to break this psychological barrier and solidifying its position as the new stock king. At the time of writing, Lianxun Instruments was up 8.54%, trading at 2,018.81 yuan per share, with a total market capitalization of 201.3 billion yuan. The stock had previously claimed the title of A-share price leader on May 18.

In other notable action, shares of Zhongji Innolight Co.,Ltd. (SZSE: 300308)

rose over 8% during the June 3 session, with its price approaching 1,290 yuan, thereby overtaking Moutai. This temporarily relegated Moutai to the fifth position among A-shares by price, with its shares trading at 1,283.95 yuan.

At the time of writing, Zhongji Innolight's total market capitalization reached approximately 1.44 trillion yuan, while Kweichow Moutai's market cap stood at about 1.61 trillion yuan.
