PRU Buys Back 390,349 Shares at £10.68 Each, Cutting Outstanding Stock to 2.53 Billion

Prudential plc (PRU) disclosed that it repurchased 390,349 ordinary shares on 2 April 2026 under the shareholder-approved buy-back programme arranged with JP Morgan Securities plc.

The shares were acquired on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging from £10.5550 to £10.8200, with a volume-weighted average price of £10.6831. All repurchased shares will be cancelled.

Post-cancellation, PRU’s issued share capital will stand at 2.53 billion ordinary shares, representing the updated total voting rights figure for regulatory disclosure purposes.

The buy-back forms part of the authority granted at the 2025 Annual General Meeting and was executed as an on-exchange transaction under London Stock Exchange rules and the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-Backs.
