Deep News04-24

On April 23, the 2026 grassroots copyright service campaign, themed "Innovation Development, Copyright Partnership," concluded successfully at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing. Guided by the Chongqing Copyright Bureau, the event was jointly organized by the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and the Chongqing Copyright Protection Center. RS MACALLINE participated as a key collaborator, joining forces with government, academic, and industry partners. A series of significant activities were held, including the launch of a copyright service platform and the reading of a copyright initiative, demonstrating a practical commitment to copyright protection and empowering the creative industries.

A major highlight and actionable initiative unveiled at the event was the official launch of the "2026 RS MACALLINE IP Design Competition." Co-hosted by RS MACALLINE, the Design School of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, and the Chongqing Copyright Association, the competition is openly soliciting designs for a brand-exclusive IP image. The contest aims to unearth top creative talent to develop a unique IP symbol that embodies artistic quality, brand warmth, and contemporary vitality. This initiative is a concrete step in implementing the brand's youth-oriented strategy, injecting fresh creative energy into its development.

Liu Ying, General Manager of the Marketing and Brand Department at RS MACALLINE Home Furnishing Group, stated that the company, with four decades of deep involvement in the home furnishing industry, has always adhered to its mission of "Creating a Better Home Life." Respecting originality and safeguarding copyright are fundamental principles for the company, which is dedicated to building a warm, artistic, and valuable home ecosystem. Chongqing, known for its rich artistic atmosphere and concentration of creative talent, is a core hub for the creative and design industries in Southwest China. The Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, as a top-tier art academy in the country, is widely recognized for its strong creative capabilities and outstanding educational achievements. RS MACALLINE's Chongqing operations have maintained a close partnership with the Institute, successfully collaborating on practical projects such as joint art and home furnishing exhibitions. This existing partnership was a key reason for selecting the Institute as a deep collaborator to jointly launch this IP design competition.

The competition will emphasize copyright protection throughout its duration, actively guiding participants to establish sound copyright awareness and ensuring every creative idea is seen, protected, and respected. Simultaneously, the competition will explore the boundaries of AI tools in empowering design alongside participants, helping design works better align with public aesthetics and gain brand favor. RS MACALLINE will welcome all creative submissions with an open and inclusive attitude, anticipating that the competition will gather outstanding creators, witness the vibrant growth of young design talent, and yield a collection of high-quality works that are artistic, distinctive, and communicable. This initiative aims to inject stronger contemporary vitality into the communication of traditional home furnishing brands and promote the deep integration and mutual development of the home furnishing and creative arts industries.
