High-tech Zone Branch of Anyang Market Supervision Bureau Conducts Special Inspection on Air Compressors

Deep News12-09

To strengthen the supervision of special equipment safety and mitigate risks associated with air compressor usage, the High-tech Zone Branch of Anyang Market Supervision Bureau in Henan Province recently launched a special inspection campaign. The initiative, based on the "Special Equipment Safety Law" and "Special Equipment Safety Inspection Measures," aims to ensure workplace safety and protect personnel in industrial enterprises.

The inspection focused on key areas such as equipment safety performance, management system implementation, and operational compliance. On-site checks included verifying technical documentation, ensuring newly installed equipment meets safety standards for mining products, and assessing compliance of storage tank installations, protective measures for exposed moving parts, high-temperature pipelines, and firefighting equipment. Noise levels in compressor rooms were also tested to ensure they remain below 85dB (A).

Core systems were thoroughly examined, including lubrication system integrity, cooling system functionality, and the reliability of safety components like pressure gauges and relief valves. Additionally, inspectors evaluated whether companies maintained proper safety management systems, employed qualified personnel, and kept complete maintenance and hazard resolution records.

The inspection covered three enterprises, all of which demonstrated strict adherence to special equipment safety responsibilities, with well-maintained and properly managed air compressors.
