Commercial Space Sector Stocks in Hong Kong Surge Following Successful Launch of Long March 10B Rocket

Shares of commercial aerospace companies listed in Hong Kong experienced a significant collective surge during afternoon trading on July 10th.

This market movement followed the successful first flight of the Long March 10B carrier rocket, which achieved a controlled recovery of its first stage.

Hainan Drinda New Energy Technology Co.,Ltd. (DRINDA) saw its share price skyrocket by more than 30%.

Other notable gainers included Asia Satellite Telecommunications Holdings Ltd, which rose over 17%, and Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., advancing more than 14%.

Additionally, shares of Aerospace International Holdings Limited increased by 10%, and China Aviation Industry International Holdings Limited climbed nearly 6%.

The development team for the Long March 10B rocket has stated they will continue to optimize the vehicle's performance and accelerate the iterative upgrade of reusable rocket technology.

They anticipate completing a re-flight mission with a recovered first-stage rocket before the end of this year.
