Ali Health Launches At-Home Nurse Service Across More Than 250 Cities Nationwide

Deep News10-26 16:50

Ali Health has rolled out an at-home nursing service covering more than 250 cities across the country, allowing users to place orders online for sampling tests, chronic disease injections, and medical accompaniment, all completed by nurses visiting their homes.

Users can search for "nurse home visit" on the Taobao mobile app to book the relevant services.

According to the company, the service is supported by a nationally coordinated healthcare network: Ali Health (ASX: 00241) centers on more than 2,000 self-employed nurses, working in coordination with third-party nursing institutions. All nurses are licensed and registered, and nurse admission, scheduling, service delivery, and after-sales support are uniformly managed by the platform.

The service supports both immediate and scheduled modes, with immediate orders receiving a response in as little as one minute.

For a long time, health needs have tended to arise at home while professional medical care has remained in hospitals. The launch of at-home nurse services is aimed precisely at filling this gap.

It is reported that this service model has already been running in Hangzhou ahead of the national rollout.

In early October, the Alibaba Group charity initiative, together with the Hangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, launched the "Silver Age Better Life Action," with health services undertaken by Ali Health (ASX: 00241). The service covers Hangzhou's core urban districts and can quickly respond to elderly users' needs for at-home injections, testing, and other services.

With the addition of professional medical care reaching the home, a complete closed loop is formed together with Ali Health's (ASX: 00241) existing online capabilities in testing, consultation, medication, and fulfillment. This enables the platform to comprehensively support users' full life-cycle health management, from at-home testing and medical accompaniment to medication services and chronic disease management.

A representative from Ali Health (ASX: 00241) stated that the service is already operating as a regular business and that the company will continue to expand the number of covered cities and service offerings going forward.
