On December 17, Li Auto's legal department stated via Weibo that the company has faced extensive organized online attacks this year, including but not limited to violations of car owners' personal information, fabricated false claims to discredit business operations, and malicious smears against product quality. Recently, through meticulous investigation by Yantai Public Security Bureau in Shandong Province, the criminal activities of an organized online "black PR" group have been fully exposed, with suspects now under compulsory legal measures.
Li Auto emphasized that these coordinated, premeditated smear campaigns—designed to provoke conflicts and discrimination among car owners—represent typical illegal activities by "black PR" forces. Such actions not only severely violate users' personal data and reputational rights but also cause significant harm to the company's brand image and normal operations.
The company reaffirmed that all attempts to profit from illegal online activities or damage the legitimate rights of businesses and users will face strict legal consequences. Li Auto remains committed to using legal measures to defend its brand and customers' reputations while promoting a healthy online environment and fair market competition.
