An adjustment to domestic refined oil product prices will come into effect from 24:00 today, as announced by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
According to monitoring by the NDRC's Price Monitoring Center, international oil prices fluctuated during the latest pricing cycle, initially falling before rising again.
Starting from midnight tonight, the price of domestic gasoline and diesel will be reduced by 525 yuan and 505 yuan per tonne, respectively.
On a national average basis, the price per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 95-octane gasoline, and 0-grade diesel will be lowered by 0.41 yuan, 0.44 yuan, and 0.43 yuan, respectively.
Filling a 50-liter tank with 92-octane gasoline will now cost approximately 20.5 yuan less.
Operating costs for the logistics industry will also see a reduction. For example, a heavy-duty truck traveling 10,000 kilometers per month with a fuel consumption of 38 liters per 100 kilometers will see its fuel costs decrease by around 763 yuan over the next half-month period.
