On February 9, it was announced that Taobao Express is investing nearly 2 billion yuan to strengthen logistics capacity ahead of the Spring Festival. Riders who remain on duty during the holiday period are expected to earn thousands of yuan more than usual, with those in first-tier cities potentially earning over ten thousand yuan extra.
Due to a surge in orders during the festival, Taobao Express has launched multiple incentive programs, including holiday bonuses, long-term activities, and recruitment rewards. Many riders are likely to receive year-end bonuses amounting to tens of thousands of yuan. Incentives during the Spring Festival include retention and return-to-work rewards, per-order bonuses, and subsidies for adverse weather conditions. Long-term initiatives consist of competition rewards, fuel subsidies, and stacked incentives. Both referring riders and new recruits will receive rewards for successful onboarding.
Additionally, Taobao Express is enhancing the entire order fulfillment process through AI efficiency improvements and optimized last-mile delivery, aiming to help riders complete orders faster and provide better service to users.
