Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited (Beijing Airport) has confirmed the re-election of Mr. Liu Jiliang as employee director, following a vote at the fifth meeting of the fifth session of the employees’ representative congress. Liu will serve on the 10th session of the board alongside non-employee directors to be chosen at a forthcoming general meeting. His new term will start on the date the 10th board is formally elected and run until the end of that board’s tenure.
Aged 58, Liu is a senior political work specialist with a bachelor’s degree in law from the People’s Public Security University of China and holds a lawyer’s qualification. He has been an employee director since 16 September 2025. Previous roles include leadership positions at Beijing Aviation Ground Services Co., Ltd., Beijing CAH SATS Aviation Services Co., Ltd. and various divisions of the Civil Aviation Administration of China. He currently serves as deputy Party secretary, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of the Company Labour Union.
Liu will sign a new service contract in connection with the re-election, and the company stated that no additional remuneration will be granted for his board duties. Beijing Airport also confirmed that Liu has no shareholding in the company, no relationships with other directors, senior management or major shareholders, and has not held any directorships in other publicly listed companies over the past three years.
The board reported no additional matters requiring shareholder attention under Rule 13.51(2)(h)–(v) of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
