The eighth edition of the SoYoung Gemstone Doctor List has officially been released. Building on its existing criteria for evaluating doctors' professional capabilities, this edition introduced a dual mechanism combining expert review with public review, conducting a comprehensive assessment of participating doctors across multiple dimensions including medical technology, clinical experience, aesthetic ability, and service experience.
According to reports, the selection process for this edition went through eight rounds of screening, covering 12 medical aesthetics subcategories such as plastic surgery, minimally invasive injections, skin anti-aging, and plastic surgery repair. The review team was composed of 5 honorary chairmen, 12 organizing committee advisors, and 33 technical experts, and adopted a cross-blind selection mechanism to reduce the influence of subjective factors on the results. Meanwhile, more than 200,000 users participated in the public review segment of this edition. Participating users conducted comprehensive evaluations of the candidate doctors based on their medical experience and outcomes. Ultimately, nearly 100 shortlisted doctors were selected for this edition of the Gemstone Doctor List.
In addition to the Gemstone Doctor List, So Young also held the "SoYoung Gemstone Ellastie Golden Needle Competition" during the same period. It is understood that this competition likewise adopted a dual review approach, selecting outstanding doctors based on dimensions such as clinical operations, aesthetic design, and project presentation, with further attention to medical aesthetics doctors' comprehensive capabilities in technical application and aesthetic expression.
Public information shows that the SoYoung Gemstone Doctor List was established in 2019. Its evaluation system was built with reference to mature industry standards, inviting experts from China's medical aesthetics industry, authoritative physicians, and aesthetics experts to form an authoritative review panel. At its inception, the evaluation categories were refined into 11 fields including eyes, nose, hair transplantation, and breasts. In the future, the SoYoung Gemstone Doctor List will continue to explore doctor review mechanisms, integrating both expert professional review and public user selection to present a more comprehensive doctor list, provide consumers with more reference-worthy information, and offer a new reference sample for evaluating doctors' professional capabilities.
