At the 2026 Yunqi Conference's "AI + Culture and Media" technology development forum, held on the afternoon of September 22, Orca Entertainment Group introduced "Jingrui AI," which it describes as the industry's first AI film production and management platform. According to the company, Jingrui AI is designed to help creators reduce wasted attempts in AI-generated video production, deliver precise control throughout the entire production process, and support collaboration across large teams and multiple job functions, thereby boosting organizational efficiency.
Jingrui AI is scheduled to begin internal testing in October, with the first batch of test slots to be offered to professional film creators and production teams. Du Yanlong, Chief Technology Officer of Orca Entertainment Group, stated, "With the rapid development of China's AI technology and the explosive growth of AI talent, the entertainment industry is facing a historic opportunity to overtake Hollywood. The real opportunity in entertainment is not about how much content is produced with AI, but about taking part in defining the production standards of a new generation of content. With Jingrui AI, Orca Entertainment aims to provide an AI infrastructure that helps China's entertainment industry achieve a leap in productivity, enabling more creators to tell great stories with AI."
Du further pointed out that traditional film production supports complex collaboration by relying on division of labor, workflows, standards, and asset systems to keep uncertainty within a manageable range, and AI creation needs to make the same leap. To truly unleash content productivity in the entertainment industry, the next stage of development is not about who can generate a single good shot, but about who can help a creative team consistently, explainably, and within budget deliver a complete work. In the AI era, what is truly scarce is no longer the raw capability of model generation, but the ability of a creative team to continuously deliver quality content.
