The company Meta Platforms Inc. is promoting bonds for the first time in six months, becoming the most recent major technology firm to confront investor doubt during a wave of debt issuances aimed at supporting artificial intelligence infrastructure development.

According to a source familiar with the situation, the company has launched the sale of a new deal in five parts, with maturities spanning from five to 30 years. The initial price discussion for the longest maturity indicates a yield premium of roughly 2.5 percentage points over Treasuries, the source added, requesting anonymity since they are not permitted to speak openly.

Meta intends to secure at least $20 billion in debt through a bond offering that is also anticipated to feature euro-denominated notes, as Bloomberg previously reported.
