Z.AI (02513) surged over 8% in Hong Kong trading, with shares up 7.98% at HK$1,015 as of press time, on a turnover of HK$12.72 billion.

According to reports from tech media outlet Bianews, the company's next-generation model, GLM-5.3, appears to have been prematurely exposed. On the afternoon of August 3, netizens discovered that the official documentation page for GLM-5.3 was unexpectedly made public, allowing direct access to the document for roughly one hour. Bing search results temporarily listed the ZCode page title as "GLM-5.3 Official Harness."

In June, Z.AI launched its latest flagship model, GLM-5.2, which scored 51 points on the Artificial Analysis comprehensive leaderboard, ranking just behind Anthropic and OpenAI, and achieving the highest score among open-source models.

Guotou Ansen International previously noted that they expect the GLM model to lead China's advancements in the global large model competition, boosting both competitiveness and market share, with potential for exponential growth in commercialization.
