Regulatory Approval Granted for Deputy President Appointment at CITIC Bank

CITIC Bank announced that it has received approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration for the appointment of Zhao Yuanxin as a Deputy President of the Bank. Mr. Zhao officially assumed the role of Deputy President effective May 7, 2026.

According to his biography, Zhao Yuanxin, male, was born in February 1974. He has been serving as a member of the Party Committee of CITIC Bank since March 2026 and as the General Manager of the Head Office Credit Execution Department since November 2025. From August 2014 to November 2025, he successively held the positions of Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Nanchang, Suzhou, and Shanghai branches. From July 2005 to August 2014, he served as Assistant President, member of the Party Committee, and Deputy President of the Suzhou Branch, as well as Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Nanchang Branch (at the level of Deputy President of a first-tier branch). Zhao Yuanxin possesses 29 years of experience in China's banking industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hunan Finance and Economics College and is a certified economist.
