Maple Leaf Educational Systems Appoints New Independent Director, Transition Effective August 2026

Maple Leaf Educational Systems (01317) has announced a leadership transition within its board of directors. Ms. Wong Huey Fang has submitted her resignation as an independent non-executive director, effective August 31, 2026, to pursue a business career in other ventures.

Following her departure, Ms. Wong will also step down from her roles as a member of the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee, and the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee. In a concurrent move, Mr. Zhao Ling will be appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company, effective from the same date, August 31, 2026. Mr. Zhao will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee, and the Nomination Committee.
